Pipes Fitness was started to create an environment that supported individuals of all body types, fitness levels, and ages to move and enhance their health. To provide professional fitness classes and instruction to those who were needing a supportive atmosphere where they could be challenged in a supportive way, and held accountable to showing up.
It has grown into a family and space that is unique in its positive vibe, inclusiveness, and safe space to move and sweat without expectations and judgement. Yoga, fitness, movement...all of it should be for everyone! Movement can be an incredibly important aspect of whole body health, which involves the body, mind and soul. Our studio has proved to all its members that fitness and yoga can be fun, effective, and positive when the goal is staying healthy, listening to your body, and simply enjoying movement.

The goal of each of our staff is to make every single person that comes through our door feel welcome, safe, and completely comfortable to workout or practice to their own level. It is our job to ensure you have professional guidance in technique, modifications and progressions, and to both challenge and support you!
We love to see our clients succeed, however that looks and feels to them! For some, that is simply showing up. For others its improving how they move and their mobility. And for others its increasing weight, or just being able to do something they couldn't do initially. Movement is for everyone, and it is our teams goal to make sure everyone leaves feeling positive, successful and motivated to continue their health and fitness journey....in whatever way serves them and their body best.

I am not your typical fitness professional...and I take great pride in that! My goal for Pipes Fitness was always to create a supportive environment for general public who want to move, be more active, and with a focus on training (safely) for health longevity. A place where a client who wants to lift heavy and push themselves hard can work alongside a client who is focusing more on rehabbing an old injury, training light or just wants to feel good moving again.
Making fitness accessible for all became even more important and real to me when I was diagnosed with an incurable rare disease, Adrenomyeloneuropathy! I now face head on the fight against deterioration of my own balance, mobility, strength, and physical restrictions due to my neuropathy.
My disease has taught me even more the importance of staying active AND listening to my body! My workouts don't look even CLOSE to how they used to, or honestly even close to a lot of my clients. But just as many of my clients, it is important to know ways to adjust exercises to make them successful for each client and their abilities, and to continue to use fitness and yoga to support mental health.
Everyone's body has success in movement. There is something for you EVEN if you haven't found yours yet or you don't fit the "cookie cutter" mold (I sure as heck don't as a fitness pro)! If I can, you can...and I'd love to help you find your happy place in fitness, yoga and spin!
